Our project consortium under the leadership of Anja Mayer and Luc Morin managed to publish a scientific article about the complex process of developing the blueprint for the virtual patient collection. The article describes the process and its outcomes in detail. Thus, we believe it can help educators and curriculum designers to plan their own collection of virtual patients or support them in integrating existing collections like the iCoViP VP pool. We further hope that it emphasizes the importance of contextual and diversity aspects when designing or integrating virtual patients for teaching clinical reasoning.
